Planning & Zoning Commission This Commission is composed of one (1) Council member appointed by Council and four (4) citizen members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority of Council. All appointments shall be for three (3) years, except the Council member.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will have such powers as may be conferred on it by ordinance of Council, concerning the plan, design, location, removal, relocation and alteration of any public building or structure, or those located on public streets or property; the location, relocation, widening, extension and vacation of streets, parkways, playgrounds and other public places, the approval of plats for the subdivision and resubdivision of lands; recommending the zoning and rezoning of the Municipality for any lawful purpose and such other powers as are now or may hereafter be conferred upon it by ordinance of the Council or the general law of Ohio.
The Planning and Zoning Commission holds regularly scheduled meetings on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of City Hall. Please call the Zoning Office at 440-257-7216 to verify date and time.
