EmploymentPotential applicants may come to City Hall, 5860 Andrews Road, and fill out an employment application, which should be taken to the Fire Department. These applications will be kept on file and these individuals will be notified when a written test is administered.
Both the Fulltime and Parttime departments are Civil Service. This means that all positions are tested. The testing process involves a written exam, physical agility test (combat challenge at Tri-C), psychological and background check.
Written exams will be posted in the classified section of the News-Herald and/or applicants will notified by phone if their application is currently on file.
