Municipal Income Taxes
The City of Mentor-on-the-Lake has a 2% municipal income tax. It is a tax imposed on annual net profits earned in Mentor-on-the-Lake and all salaries and compensations. (Payroll Tax)
Annual City tax returns are due April 15.
The CCA (Central Collection Agency) in Cleveland acts as administrator and enforcer of the city tax for Mentor-on-the-Lake and various other communities.
